Sarah Leedy and Dave Dooley were married on November 1st, 2008. I knew as we were shooting this wedding that is was something special. Beside the fact that Sarah and Dave were absolutely wonderful to work with...their story of an Oklahoma City girl and a Brooklyn guy coming together through their Irish backgrounds had the makings of a great wedding! As their weekend kicked of in great syle at their Nova Cafe rehearsal dinner...it was obvious that "Brooklahoma" was in fact a force to be reckoned with. Bea Penhall of "About Last Night" event planning was the Wedding Planner for this wedding and she did an awsome job...as always. Bea wanted to enter a wedding into the Gala Awards...an international special event competition. Bea and I decided that this wedding would be the perfect choice. I suppose we chose well considering she won for "Best Wedding" of 2009...competing against many other national and international event plannners. Congratulations to Bea...way to go! Congratulations also goes out to all the other vendors involved in this wedding. As with all weddings...it was a group effort...combining the hard work and talents of so many people. Way to go New Leaf Florist, Gaillardia Country Club, Marianne's Rentals, Innovative Event Solutions, III Oaks Video Production and Mishelle Handy Cakes. My apologies if I've forgotten anyone. Thanks so much to Sarah and Dave for including us in their awesome wedding...you guys rock!
Congratulations to Karen and Steve Hudiburg on their 30th anniversary! The surprise party was held at Lottinville's Restaurant in Edmond on Saturday January 23rd. It was obvious there was alot of work in planning the evening and congrats to everyone involved for keeping the secret. Thanks to Kaylan and Dustin for including us...we had a great time and it was nice to see all the love and friendship during the evening. Hope you enjoy the video. Here's to another 30 years Karen and Steve!
Stephanie and Garret were married on November 7th, 2009 at Crown Heights United Methodist Church with a reception at Red Prime in downtown OKC. You guys are a great couple and we enjoyed being able to share in such a wonderful wedding. Thanks to you and your families for including us! Oh...by the way...you two left the reception in style...loved the old Chevy pickup! All my best,
Congratulations to Chelsea and Paul Richardson on the arrival of their beautiful baby boy Henry! I had the wonderful opportunity to be a small part of their wedding a couple years ago as their photographer and one of my favorite things is to continue to share in the lives of my wedding couples as their family grows. Thanks so much to Chelsea and Paul for thinking of me for Henry's big photo debut...and thanks to Henry...you ROCK buddy!
Congratulations Kellie and Steven...what a wonderful wedding it was! It was a very warm June day but everyone had a great time at Wesley Methodist Church watching Kelli Herlihy and Steven Dyer share their vows. After the ceremony and a few family photos the entire wedding party boarded a party bus for the short trip to The Skirvin Hotel in downtown OKC for the reception. Good friends, good food and good music made for a really nice evening. Thanks to Kelli and Steven for including us in your wedding day...and thanks to everyone else for making the day fun for us as well! Enjoy this brief music video of the day!
We had a great time last weekend with Lauren McIntyre and Matt Russell at their wedding! Their wedding was in Norman at Wildwood Community Church...followed by a wonderful reception at The Skirvin Hotel in downtown OKC. Everyone was especially nice to work with and we got some amazing photos. Thanks to Lauren, Matt, Martha, Bret, Edie and Wayne for allowing us to share in such a special day. Hope you enjoy this video!
What a great time we had photographing my friends Bea and Joe Penhall and their family recently! It was fun to photograph Bea after working together on so many weddings...she is one of OKC's premier Wedding Planners. It was a pleasure to meet everyone...what a nice family. Thanks to you all for making the afternoon fun for us. Hope you enjoy this short video.
